The Outdoor Pavilion at Roanoke Island Festival Park. 10am – 5pm. M’Lord and M’Lady are invited to step back 400 years to the Renaissance era. An exciting variety of demonstrations, kids games, hands-on activities, dancing, fencing and Elizabethan music will be presented. Programs about Elizabethan history, weaponry and falconry are scheduled throughout the two-day event. Merlin’s Marketplace will offer handmade pottery, jewelry and interesting costumes. December 1 - 30 Pocosin Arts: The First Ten Years
Roanoke Island Festival Park. Opening reception November 6 from 4pm – 6pm. This two month show presents the story of North Carolina’s Pocosin Arts, celebrating its ten year anniversary and telling the story of the artists who have developed their craft there and displaying works from throughout the decade.
